Black Junior Tee 100% Combed Cotton Sheer Jersey, Pre-Shrunk Creator: Bill OwenBill Owen cites Star Wars as inspiration for his art, but he came back down to earth when he designed this T-shirt for New Standard. The Ohio-based illustrator depicted a peaceful, picture-perfect milieu of two deer, a buck and a doe, standing side by side in a lush forest. It looks like a naturalistic painting done out in the unspoiled wild was printed smack in the middle of this black crewneck tee. Hey, it might just incite you to get out of the city and go camping…

I am from Cincinnati Ohio I have been drawing since I was a young child . I am a big fan of comics and Science fiction mainly the older Star Wars movies. Thats all the stuff I would draw growing up.
I have had many art jobs from sculpting, illustration to design and some comic book work. I also worked for Hasbro toys for a short while then moved from toys to giftware for a about five years for company called New Creative Enterprises. Designing giftware products and on the side I painted and designed Holiday flags for them. That's how I got into doing wildlife, inspirational, horses and seasonal art which is a big part of my portfolio. In 2005 I left the company and went freelance doing various projects and thats where I am today.
I love my work I am doing today its great to see people enjoy my work. But I do plan to expand my art and get back into the more fantasy and science fiction, because that's my passion. So keep looking I plan to bring some new and exciting things to come.
What inspires your work? Being out and seeing my art some where on display and the joy and exciment that it brings to other people. Sometimes the best reward is just hearing how much someone likes what you have done.
How would you describe your art style? My art is more on the lines of realistic, animals, inspirational and nature maybe some of its on the cute side. Being in the giftware business so long I seem to been caught in that style, but I do have a fantasy and scifi side that I am expanding on.
